I majored in Russian and French in undergrad, but that was lo these many decades ago. I want to put a couple of Russian phrases into my novel-in-progress, but I'm rusty, in my own odd way. Didn't take me long to figure out how to say, "Would you be tasty?", but I'm a little rocky on the conjugation when it comes to a phrase as simple as "Come here". If you wanted to say, "Come here" in Russian and you were speaking на ты, would it be "идёшь сюда"?

I think "идти сюда" (I was also a Russian major -- not just making stuff up -- but it's been some years, so definitely don't trust me). идёшъ сюда would be "you are coming here."

Something like that. I used to tutor a little Russian boy , and "come here" became a REALLY important phrase to know in Russian, because his English could be a little selective if there was some attractive trouble around. I'm not sure of the spelling, but that's definitely what it sounded like.
Glad you're up to writing again. Brown Girl in the Ring was the first book of yours I read -- I was working in a bookstore and wound up picking all their fantasy stuff because I was the only one who read it, so someone gave me that one -- and it completely blew me away. Love your voice, your characters, and your magic. So thanks for that, and happy work on the new one!

This may come too late, and not to upstage some of the Russian majors here (Romani ite domum indeed), but the imperative of "go" is иди. "Go here" would be иди сюда. "Would you be tasty?" insofar as anyone would actually say such a thing (ogre? cannibal?) would be something like "А ты вкусным будешь?" but would depend on context for the exact phrasing and emphasis.
