Fishing expedition

Fishing for UFOs on a hillside somewhere in San Francisco this evening.  A hawk came screaming down at one point, claws extended, apparently intending to take our bait out. Changed its mind when it got close, tried to change direction, and instead went crashing by ass over teakettle in a flurry of feathers. Hawks don't have especially good brakes.

It is interesting how much more vivid this picture looks here than on Facebook. I suppose it is just the blue background, but I am glad I looked at it here as well as there.
